This modern adaptation of the story of Frankenstein takes place at a remote South African medical school. A disgraced plastic surgeon turned university lecturer uses forbidden science and Zulu folklore to create a monstrous being known as Impundulu from the body of a student obsessed with him, but when the creature begins killing, he must stop her before she destroys the only woman he's ever truly loved.
